Many organizations, especially non profits, face numerous challenges in getting events organized. There are hardly any tools for them to tap into their volunteers goodwill and energy in an organized manner. This app is intended for organizations to better leverage their volunteer resources.

This app allows event organizers to build a network of volunteers and then leverage them to conduct a successful event. The following are the main features of this app

- Event Organizers can build a network of volunteers using a variety of communication channels - from their phonebook to social media to email

- Organizers can then post tasks that they need help with. They can add supplementary information like Date/Time, urgency, location etc.

- Volunteers can then see these tasks and volunteer to help with it. They can just swipe right to assign the task to themselves or open the tasks and click a button to help. If there is a date/time associated with the task, that task is added to the calendar.

- Once a volunteer accepts a task, task specific helpful buttons appear. For example, if a volunteer is picking up food and the location has been entered in the task, a button for directions appears that allows the volunteer to get directions to the location via Maps.

- Volunteers can also post offers to help, which organizers can then accept

- Organizers can post updates on the event feed to keep everyone updated


There are numerous convenience features built in - like privacy controls so that organizers can control which volunteers can view a task (for sensitive tasks), people can ask for clarifications on the task if they have any questions etc etc. In fact, organizers can use this app to coordinate amongst themselves.
